PUBLIC NOTICE
FILING DECLARATIONS OF CANDIDACY FOR ELECTIVE OFFICES
FOR THE APRIL 2, 2024, MUNICIPAL ELECTION
CITY OF KEARNEY, MISSOURI

 

Filing for candidates at the annual City election, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, opens Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 8:00 A.M. and ends Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. in accordance with 115.127.5 RSMo.

At said election there shall be elected:

  1. One (1) member of the Board of Aldermen of Ward 1 for a term of two (2) years.
  2. One (1) member of the Board of Aldermen of Ward 2 for a term of two (2) years.

Filing may be recorded with the City Clerk at Kearney City Hall, 100 E. Washington Street, Kearney, MO, during normal business hours from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.  City offices will be closed all-day on Friday, December 22, 2023, and all-day Monday, December 25, 2023.
